The risk of legitimate bomb threats and terror attacks is on the rise worldwide. TEK9 Security Services provide fully trained and qualified explosive detection dogs for the protection of public and private events. Additionally, TEK9 also provide these services for the protection of buildings and any other places or situations which require the highest level of elite professional security.

Our dogs are carefully assessed and selected prior to undertaking intensive training and ongoing qualification. The selection process is based on the highest standard of animal health, specific characteristics and role requirements.

Having such a high standard of selection criteria enables TEK9 to successfully train and deploy highly specialized K9 Units that provide the added level of confidence and risk management you require for your events or facilities.

TEK9 Security Services is fully licensed and certified.

Licenses, certificates and approvals

TEK9 Security Services is licensed according to:
§34a Industrial code
§11 Animal Welfare Act.
§7 Explosives Act.
§20 Explosives Act.
The deployed personnel are at least licensed according to §34a Industrial code and is in possession of the necessary transport licenses.
The transport vehicles used are inspected and approved by the veterinary office.

TEK9 dogs are specifically trained to search and recognize all known explosives and vapors, including improvised explosives / devices, and firearms. Each TEK9 dog handler is also intensively trained, skilled and qualified as a licensed dog handler.

Due to our dedicated focus in the area of explosive ordnance detection, we can ensure the highest level of service to our customers. TEK9 is not a standard K9 security provider - we do not offer the services of general guard or attack dogs. We offer only the finest elite K9 protection and detection services.

TEK9 Security Services cooperates with and supports the research department for detection technologies. Motto: Make dangers visible, avert dangers. The university has one of the few research departments and laboratories worldwide for the production and improvement of methods and sample carriers for explosive detection dogs.

Member of the "Federal association for guard and service dogs"

TEK9 Security Services is a member of the association "Explosives Detection Dogs & Teams". The association is recognized by the Employers Liability Insurance Association.

Member of the DIN 77201 Committee

As the authorized representative of TEK9 Security Services Mr. Frank Dickob is a member of the committee of DIN 77201 "Requirements for service dog handlers and service dogs" in Berlin. The Committee of the German Industry Standard (DIN) is currently developing binding qualifications for the use of service dogs in Germany.
