How We Work
TEK9 cooperates with trainers, instructors, and experts from private and official service dog sectors. We maintain close contact with security professionals from the industrial and event management sectors, as well as representatives of various official security agencies and government terrorism experts at home and abroad.
Among other things, this enables us to determine which explosives have been used in attacks in Europe in recent years, thus allowing us to further educate our teams and the deployed explosive detection dogs accordingly. Furthermore, we cooperate with scientists from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (Department of Detection Methods for Explosives/Security Research).
TEK9 is part of the expert committee for the development of DIN SPEC 77201 and has been involved in its development for over 2 years. DIN SPEC 77201-1 and 77201-2 include quality requirements for service dog operations in the security industry and, among other things, a certification process for explosive detection dogs.
